Ticket Information

 

Where can I purchase tickets?

All tickets can be purchased through Ticketebo.

Will tickets be available at the gate?

We cannot guarantee tickets will be available at the gate as it will all depend on the number of presale tickets sold. So don’t dilly Dally get yours now!

 

Do I need to print my ticket?

You can if you wish, or just present your e-ticket on your mobile device, however due to limited internet it may be a good idea to download your ticket prior to the event.

 

Can I get a refund?

Unless you opted for a refundable ticket when purchasing yours, tickets are non-refundable.  For details of when a refund would be issued, see your ticketing Terms & Conditions.

 

What happens if the event is cancelled?

Kapunda Rodeo will go ahead rain, hail or shine!

 

BUSES

That’s right buses! This year we are trialling buses they will come from every direction so when purchasing your ticket, you will be given the option of a bus ticket also. These are strictly limited in qty. Once all tickets have been finalised you will be sent an exact pickup location and time. We will aim to have you at the event by 1pm and departing around midnight.

 

CAMPING AND ACCOMMODATION

The Kapunda Tourist Park is currently full and can accept no more bookings.

Is there camping at the rodeo?

There sure is! Camping is permitted in our car park on a first in best dressed basis. You will see a section of a preferred camping and we ask that, if possible, you stay within this area. There is no need to book. Bring your desired camping option and we will find somewhere for you! We do ask you to be mindful of other campers, no pets and the carpark is a dry zone! Fireworks, whip cracking and campfires are also prohibited in the carpark.

THERE IS TO BE NO CAMPING IN THE PADDOCK ACROSS THE ROAD.

If you wish to stay offsite, Eudunda have a caravan park along with Nuriootpa and Tanunda and the Greenock oval permits self-contained caravans. Ryeland's Farm Stay offer camping also and is great for the kids.

The Barossa Valley is a 15–20-minute bus/cab ride and has plenty of hotel/motel accommodation options.

You also now have the option of buses when staying out of town!

 

Event Day Information

 

Vehicle and bag searches

As per our ticket guidelines vehicle and bag searches will be conducted upon entry into our carpark and venue.

 

Do I need I.D.?

Yes.  If you are 18+ and drinking, please bring your I.D.  Security will check your I.D. as you enter the rodeo grounds. If you fail to produce an acceptable form of identification, then you will be provided with an underage wristband.

 

Will I need cash, or can I use EFTPOS?

Food vendors have both cash and EFTPOS facilities. Drink tickets can be purchased from the ticket window with either cash or card.

 

Can I go to my car once I am in the venue?

No. Due to restrictions imposed on the Kapunda rodeo there is a no pass out policy enforced. If you have specific needs, please send us a message and will do what we can to accommodate.

 

Can we bring our own food and alcohol into the rodeo?

No.  There is no BYO allowed this also includes the carparks. This is a fully catered event with a fantastic range of food and beverage options available.

 

What food vendors will be there?

Vendors are being released and promoted on our Facebook page as we speak.

 

Can I bring bottled water?

Yes, provided the bottles of water are sealed.

 

Are there vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available?

Yes, our food vendors have a range of options of available.

 

Can we bring chairs, tables, umbrellas, or marquees?

Yes, bring your camping chairs.  Small personal umbrellas are fine, however, please ensure they do not block anyone’s view.  Marquees are not permitted, to ensure uninterrupted views of the rodeo and stage for everyone.

 

What time is the band playing?

The band will commence at the conclusion of the rodeo, usually around 9:30pm

 

Where can I park my car?

Car parking is available in the Kapunda Harness racing carpark or in the paddock on Hancock Road. Just follow the signs. Please note that camping is only permitted in the Harness Club carpark, preferably in the sign posted camping section.

 

What time do gates open?

Gates will open into the carpark at 10am with gates to the venue at 12pm with all of the action beginning from 3pm

 

Can I bring my dog?

No, except for special needs dogs, accompanied by the relevant paperwork.  Please do not turn up with your furry best mate, as we will have to refuse you entry.

***This is a rodeo, there is livestock on premise overnight, it is also a residential area with many homes surrounding us. The use of fireworks and whips is strictly prohibited and reckless driving in the carpark is also prohibited. Please be aware that CCTV footage is in use, and you may be recorded, and footage handed over to SAPOL***
