🎟️ Ticket Information

Where can I purchase tickets?
All tickets are available through Ticketebo. Follow the link from our Tickets tab.

Will tickets be available at the gate?
Gate sales are not guaranteed and depend on presale numbers. To avoid missing out — don’t dilly-dally, grab your tickets early!

Do I need to print my ticket?
You can print your ticket or present your e-ticket on your mobile device. Due to limited internet at the venue, we recommend downloading your ticket prior to arrival.

Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable unless you selected the refundable ticket option at purchase. For details on refund eligibility, please refer to the Ticketing Terms & Conditions.

What happens if the event is cancelled?
The Kapunda Rodeo will go ahead rain, hail or shine!

🚌 Buses

Limited bus services will operate to and from the event — details will be released soon. Once ticket sales are finalised, you’ll receive exact pickup locations and times. We aim for buses to arrive by 1:00pm and depart around midnight.

🏕️ Camping and Accommodation

The Kapunda Tourist Park is fully booked and unable to accept further reservations.

Is there camping at the rodeo?
Camping for the 2025 Kapunda Rodeo is very limited and restricted to swags and rooftop tents only. Due to space constraints, caravans and large campervans are not permitted.

🚫 There is strictly no camping in the paddock across the road.

For off-site options:

  • Eudunda, Nuriootpa, and Tanunda have caravan parks.

  • The Greenock Oval allows self-contained caravans.

  • Ryeland’s Farm Stay also offers family-friendly camping.

  • The Barossa Valley (15–20 minutes by bus or cab) has numerous hotels and motels.

🎪 Event Day Information

Vehicle and Bag Searches
Vehicle and bag searches will be conducted upon entry to the carpark and venue, as per ticketing guidelines.

Do I need ID?
Yes. Patrons aged 18+ who intend to drink must present valid ID at entry. If you’re unable to provide acceptable ID, you’ll be issued an underage wristband.

Will I need cash or can I use EFTPOS?

  • Food vendors accept both cash and EFTPOS.

  • Bars are EFTPOS only (no cash sales).

Can I return to my car after entry?
No pass-outs are permitted. If you have specific needs, please message us before the event and we’ll do our best to assist.

Can we bring our own food or alcohol?
No BYO food or alcohol is permitted, including in the carpark. The event is fully catered with a great range of food and beverage options.

What food vendors will be there?
Vendor announcements are being released on our Facebook page.

Can I bring bottled water?
Yes — bottled water is permitted, but bottles must be sealed.

Are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options available?
Yes, several vendors will offer a range of dietary options.

Can we bring chairs, tables, umbrellas, or marquees?
You may bring camping chairs and small personal umbrellas. Please ensure umbrellas don’t obstruct others’ views. Marquees are not permitted to maintain clear sightlines for all attendees.

What time is the band playing?
The live band will kick off after the rodeo concludes, around 9:30pm.

Where can I park?
Parking is available at the Kapunda Harness Racing Track carpark and the paddock on Hancock Road — just follow the signs. Or find a park offsite and catch the Kapunda loop shuttle bus.


Please note:

  • Camping is only permitted in the designated camping area within the Harness Club carpark.

  • Once this area is full, no additional camping spaces will be available.
    We recommend arranging alternative transport to and from the event where possible.

What time do gates open?

  • Carpark gates: 10:00am

  • Venue gates: 12:00pm

  • Rodeo action begins: 3:00pm

Can I bring my dog?
No animals are permitted, except for accredited assistance dogs with valid documentation.

⚠️ Important Event Notice

This is a rodeo event with livestock on-site overnight and is located within a residential area.

  • The use of fireworks and whips is strictly prohibited.

  • Reckless driving in the carpark will not be tolerated.

  • CCTV is in operation, and footage may be provided to SAPOL if required.
